This advanced technique allows patients to recover the beauty of their smile, the pleasure of chewing and their self-confidence even after losing all their teeth.
The aesthetics of old removable prostheses was very poor and chewing was uncomfortable. The smile was restored with metal-free ceramic crowns on implants. Performed by Dentist-Orthopaedic Surgeon Raimondas Savickas.

All-on-4 is a dental restoration method used for patients who have lost most or all of their teeth. This treatment is performed during a single surgical procedure by threading four small screw-like implants that mimic the function of natural tooth roots into the jawbone. Jawbone or gum augmentation is performed if the amount of these tissues is insufficient. To ensure that you can smile throughout the entire healing period, temporary teeth that are planned and manufactured prior to the procedure are immediately fitted. Once the implants have fully fused with the bone, temporary restorations are replaced with permanent ones, restoring the pleasure of chewing and a smile that is visually indistinguishable from the natural one.
When most or all of the teeth are lost, lip corners droop, cheeks sink, facial features appear older, and speech is impaired. However, it is essential to restore lost teeth not only for these reasons, which prevent you from smiling broadly, reduce your self-confidence or even cause you to avoid socializing with people. Impaired chewing function can lead to digestive disorders, and the loss of natural load on the jawbone can cause it to deteriorate over time. Unfortunately, such an advanced condition requires both complex and significantly more expensive treatment.
Characteristic
The natural-looking aesthetics of the smile is restored.
The aesthetics of the smile is restored.
The chewing function is completely restored, so you can enjoy your favourite foods again.
25% of chewing efficiency is restored. As chewing force reduces fourfold, patients must give up hard foods.
Restorations are fixed onto threaded implants which makes them completely stable and prevents them from falling out.
The plate is unstable, may wobble or fall out at an inconvenient moment.
The sensation of real teeth in the mouth is created.
When worn, discomfort, pressure, a foreign body sensation, and reduced mouth space are felt. Increased salivation, nausea, food retention under the dentures, and impaired speech may cause discomfort. The adaptation period is longer.
With proper daily oral care and regular preventive visits to the dentist, restorations can last for decades.
Both full and partial removable dentures are recommended to be replaced or repaired every three to five years, as the bone beneath them changes.

During the consultation, the condition of your oral cavity and jaws is carefully assessed by taking a panoramic X-ray or 3D CT scan. Your expectations are also heard and a treatment plan that is best tailored to your individual case is developed.
After administration of adequate anaesthesia, the remaining non-restorable teeth are removed during the surgery. At the same time, four implants are threaded into one of your jawbones.
After the implant surgery, temporary dentures are fitted to keep you smiling throughout the healing period. The time it takes for the implants to fully integrate into the jawbone varies greatly from person to person, but it usually takes between three and six months.
A prototype of your future teeth, made from special plastic in a laboratory, using wax or digital technology, is temporarily fixed in the mouth. This allows you to “try on” your new smile and assess its comfort, the shape, size, and position of your teeth.
In the laboratory, experienced dental technicians manufacture permanent fixed prostheses, which are very similar to natural teeth in terms of shape, colour, and functionality. They are attached to the implants that have fused with the bone.

This is a tooth restoration method that is usually suitable for all patients, regardless of their age or the complexity of their oral health. Implants can be threaded at an angle, so there is usually no need to augment bone or elevate the sinus floor, even in cases where bone tissue is deficient.
The implantation of all four teeth into one jaw is a surgical procedure performed under strong anaesthesia. To ensure your comfort, we always numb the mucous membrane with topical medication before the injection. In order to select the most appropriate anaesthetics and determine their dosage on an individual basis, each patient fills out a questionnaire at our clinic. At the end of the implant surgery, long-acting anaesthetics, medications to reduce swelling and to ease the postsurgical period are administered.
The implant surgery normally takes a few hours, and after its completion, temporary teeth are attached. After approximately three to six months, once the implants have fused with the bone, permanent dental restorations are attached to them.
Dental implants are a long-lasting solution for replacing lost teeth that can last for decades or even a lifetime. However, the actual durability depends greatly on thorough daily and periodic professional teeth cleaning. For this reason, you will be introduced to the proper daily care of implanted teeth.
