About the PROCEDURE

Dental filling is a straightforward, painless treatment method that provides long-lasting results. It is used to restore teeth affected by tooth decay and prevent its further spread. During the procedure, the damaged tissue is thoroughly cleaned, the resulting cavity is specially prepared and filled with materials that match the colour of your natural teeth. If the decay is not deep, one visit to the dentist is sufficient for treatment. Dental fillings can also be used to restore broken or worn teeth and improve their appearance.

How do we perform this treatment?

Dental filling is a procedure that requires great accuracy, it is therefore performed using powerful optical devices that allow for the removal of the damaged dental tissue with exceptional precision without damaging healthy dental tissue. Special attention is paid to prevention in order to minimise the need for fillings. Information on proper daily oral care is always provided.

D.U.K.

Tooth decay is the deterioration of dental tissue caused by poor oral hygiene and a diet high in carbohydrates. It is often impossible to notice the changes yourself, especially if the disease is in its early stages or affects areas that are difficult to see such as between the teeth. For this reason, we recommend regular professional teeth cleaning and preventive check-ups during which a specialist will always notice the first signs. If you notice any spots or your teeth start to react to temperature changes and sour or sweet foods, see your dentist. Before the condition progresses, decay can be effectively removed with a quick procedure.

Tooth decay treatment is a painless procedure performed with precision by experienced doctors using local anaesthesia. For your greater comfort, the mucous membrane is numbed with topical medication before the injection. In some cases, we can even treat tooth decay without local anaesthesia.

There are no specific recommendations, you can therefore return to your normal routine immediately. Nevertheless, if the treatment was performed under local anaesthesia, you will only be able to eat once the analgesic effect has worn off.

The most effective prevention of tooth decay is thorough daily oral hygiene and regular professional teeth cleaning. Our dentists will teach you how to properly care for your teeth, and you can conveniently purchase all the necessary products at our clinic.
